Owner: Al VanZandt
Style: El Lobo
Motor: 1915cc
Believe it or not. This is the same buggy as his old green one. After a sweet paint job, tricked out roll bar, and a steering wheel made by Al himself, he turned his nice looking tub into a show winning, head turner. It is still powered by a strong running 1915cc motor with the 4-barrel holley carb setup and custom intake.
Owner: Amy VanZandt
Style: Unknown
Motor: 1835cc
Amy transformed her old purple buggy once again. It went from being buried in a field with a tree growing out of it, to the eye-catching glitter bug you see today. It is still the old "hand-laid" fiberglass body as before, but this time a hard top was added to it.
Owner: Greg Hudson
Style: Original Manx Survivor
Motor: 1915cc
This amazing buggy has had more beating and loving than all of the other buggies combined. He has had this car in the family for 25 years. He enjoys taking it to the dunes, drags, and trail riding.

Jim has owned his buggy for a little while now. It has the original gel-coat finish in amazing condition. He likes to go street cruising, dune busting, and he has even been on strip. His 1776cc powered machine was running in the upper 9's in the 1/8th mile.

Owner: Tim Lucas
Style: Unknown
Motor: 1835cc
Tim lets his sweet 1835cc drink out of a single 44idf Weber. He enjoys going for cruises and taking it to the dunes. He wants to give this one to his girl and build a "bad ass" tub. If not, he plans to bump up to a dual carb setup.

Kim likes to cruise with all the other tubs to shows and such. He is glad to see so many other people with the same interest. Kim bought his buggy in 2006. It resides on a 1965 VW pan, was built in the 70's and is still all original. It has the fiberglass side pods and Mustang interior.
Owner: Greg & Missy Tilley
Style: Akers Plastics T
Motor: 1915cc
Greg and the family like to take their dune buggy up to the Silver Lake sand dunes when they get the chance. They also like cruisin' for ice cream with the group on the weekends. This buggy's spunky 1915cc motor is equipped with dual Kadron carbs.
Owner: John Mahoney
Style: Rattler
Motor: 1641cc
John's Rattler style body was made by B/N Industry and rests on a 1959 Beetle chassis. It was restored from the ground up during the Winter of 2005 with help from Al VanZandt, Jim Chapman, Jay Mahoney, Doug Bradshaw, Greg Hudson, and Brian Lillibridge. The paint job was done by Randy Brown of Battle Creek. His buggy was purchased on Ebay from Detroit, MI. Jim Chapman helped him retrieve his ride and save it from certain death. He likes cruising around town with the other club members and cruising into car shows too. In his 1st year unveiling his new ride, he has gone 8-for-8 at car shows attended (8 shows - 8 trophies). It has motorcycle rear view mirrors, head lights, and turn signals. The taillights are from a 1965 Chevy Corvair. He is looking forward to all the car shows and cruises in the near future.

Owner: Bob & Sue Tomkinson
Style: (1)Tuff Tub (2)Unknown
Motor: (1)1600cc (2)1835cc
Sue (wife to Bob) also enjoys cruising with the club. This body is mounted on a 1962 non-hacked VW chassis. This is a great family cruiser as it can hold 4-5 people. Just sold this Tub and is now building a Berrien Nostalgia.. Should be ready for spring 2009...
Bob has an unknow body style sitting on a reinforced chassis built by Al VanZandt with nerf bars and custom roll bar. Bob painted this one himself. This beauty has a 1835cc on steroids. Bob loves to cruise this buggy with the club.

Owner: Doug Bradshaw
Style: Martin
Motor: 1641cc
Doug's buggy was found in Quincy Michigan. While he was on his way to look at another Tub he wanted to buy, when he came across this Martin tub buggy. He ended up liking the Martin tub buggy more, so he picked it up. He bought it in pieces. It was in pieces all over the back yard. He saved it from a truly certain death. He then put this body on another chassis he already had. He added a 1641cc motor and a few other items that brought it to what you see today (nice).. This is Doug's fourth tub buggy that he has put together in less than a year's time. He truly is a master rebuilder.
Owner: Jay Brown
Style: Manx Look-a-Like
Motor: Turbocharged 1776cc
The red and silver metal flake body sits atop a '56 pan. They like to do a little cruisin' and occasionally head to the dunes. They would like to thank all their friends and family for the help completing the buggy.
Owner: Bob & Star Minier
Style: Unknown
Motor: 1914cc
Bob bought his buggy from a previous member and got lucky because it was pretty well finished. Those fat tires in the back sure make it look tough. Bob and Star enjoy cruising the streets with the other tub buggies to get ice cream or whatever.
Owner: Shelley Chapman
Style: BCBee
Motor: 1600cc
She purchased her buggy almost turn-key. Shelley enjoys cruising around town with the other members, even though her buggy is going to be for sale soon.
Thanks for all the support.
