2007 Event Photos
Pre-Summer Get Together (Jim's Polebarn, Battle Creek, MI) This event turned out to be a nice kick-off to the season. It seemed there were more people here than what normally shows up for the end of the season photo event. I guess that most of the club members were ready to get rid of that Winter season and go cruisin'. George's Party (George's Buggy Shop, Battle Creek, MI)

George had great weather and great food to kick off his 1st ever event. We hope this one grows bigger than can be. George is a good guy with a nice shop. He welcomes all volkswagens from rails to sedans to things to buses to buggies to whatever. There were no awards at this event, but it was nice to hang out and discuss VW's and such. Jim's Buggy Show & Swap (Charlton Park, Hastings, MI)

It was a wet day, so no one got any pictures. That didn't stop a few members from bringing home plaques. Jay Brown won 1st place in the 'Best Motor' category. Al Vanzandt took 2nd place for 'Best Tub'. Last, but not least John Mahoney took 1st place for 'Best Paint' the second year in a row. Congratulations to all those who braved the cruddy weather whether you won something or not.
BC's - Cruz' the Gut (Battle Creek, MI)

It was as nice as it could be. People showed up from all over to ride around in this vintage drive through downtown Battle Creek. There were not just volkswagens here. A lot of classic Chevys, Fords, Mopars, and other custom cars littered the streets. This cruise just seems to get bigger and bigger every year.

Old Fort VW Club Car Show & Swap Meet (Fort Wayne, IN)

There were a ton of Vee-Dubs at the Fort Wayne show. As you can see from the photos, it wasn't a junk yard either. Nice looking buggies, camper, and bugs as far as the eye can see.
